Company History
Our History
Founded in the summer of 1989 by a group of 7 aspiring entrepreneurs, Reliable Tube opened for business in a small 4,200 sq. ft. shop with only one bay and no overhead cranes. The company succeeded in filling a much-needed gap in the industry by providing hollow structural steel in various sizes while holding a large inventory for quick turnaround and delivery.
With a strong focus on customer service, collaboration, and value-add offerings, the founders were able to grow the business into what it is today, with over 54,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space, multiple locations, an extensive inventory of products, and an increased capacity to service projects of all sizes needing specialized processing services.
The company thrived due to the strong relationships we built with our customers. These lasting connections drove our growth and allowed us to partner with some amazing companies, celebrating successes and supporting each other along the way.
The standards of the company remain, succeeding the founders, through the 40+ employees, some of whom have been with the company over 30 years. Customer service, collaboration and value creation have always been at the core of the business and are what continue to drive success for Reliable Tube and our customers.
