Priming

Our high-quality primers create a strong barrier against moisture and corrosion, extending the lifespan of your steel in even the toughest conditions

Combined with our wheelabrating or other surface prep services, we ensure your steel is clean, primed, and ready to go, giving you peace of mind that it will perform as expected

We can prime all grades of Carbon Steel

All types of steel (e.g. Beams HSS Plate Rounds Flat Bar Angles Channel)

Primer thickness is between 0.5-1.0 mils with an average of 0.7 mils.

Primer is applied with a combination of an automatic paint gun and hand painted.

We offer 3 different primers, a red (Standard) and grey oxide vinal based primer. We also off a grey zinc-based primer.

All steel must be wheelabrated before being primed. Without the wheelabrated profile the primers will not adhere to the material and will peel.

All primers are completely weldable

Primers are JUST a shop primer and are designed to protect the steel in the elements for an average of 3-6 months in the elements, they are NOT designed to be used as a topcoat or finish coat.
